CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. by Rick Rovella. 
David Moravecek was unable to attend.  Thank you to the Riverside Public
Library for hosting the April Chamber meeting.           

ROLL CALL                        
16 members were present. 

SECRETARY
Meeting minutes will be posted on the Chamber web page:                                                    www.riversidechamberofcommerce.com.  As of today’s date we have received 25 active
memberships and 6 associate memberships for 2006.              

TREASURER’S
Cash on hand:  $14,000.  Eric Sundstrom was unable to attend. REPORT                                         

OLD BUSINESS
A motion was passed to pursue a 6 month ad in the Landmark newspaper.  This ad would highlight
specific businesses who are active members in the chamber.  Final details are being worked out and
will be reported at the next meeting.  Call Kevin Frontone of Edward Jones for information.

Concert in the Park
Stephanie Boutsikakis of Riverside Foods is chairing this event for the chamber.  She reported that
licenses and insurance have been obtained for the July 3^rd event.  Volunteers are needed to help
with setup, hosting, and takedown.  Contact Stephanie if you are interested.

Person of the Year Event:
A three person panel consisting of David Moravecek, Brian Brennan, and Dan from First American
Bank will be meeting this month with the Lion’s Club to select the Chamber’s nominee for person of
the year. 

NEW BUSINESS            
Directors of the Riverside Public Library asked for local businesses to support the Summer Program. 
Businesses are needed to help with a number of events this year including an Amazing Race.

The Friends of Library foundation will be celebrating their 75^th anniversary on August 8^th. 
Contact the library for information.

Scuff Gross announced that the Lion’s Club will be hosting their annual Chicken Dinner on May 7^th
from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm.  Tickets are $9.  Contact Scuff or any Lion’s Club member to purchase
tickets.

Future Chamber Meetings
May 16^th @ Riverside Township Hall
Meetings are held at 6:00 pm.
